Manufactured from 1878 to 1892, this is the earlier Model 1 1/2 marked with the two line address/patent reissue dates on top of the rib and the V shaped patent marking on the top strap. This is one of the first 6500 with eccentric strain screw for mainspring tension found under the grip. Matching serial number on butt, latch and barrel. Pinned blade front and notch rear sights, five round fluted cylinder, all nickel finish with checkered casehardened hammer and trigger and fitted with two-piece checkered hard rubber grips.

Condition: Good to very good. 90% original nickel remains on the barrel which has taken on an aged frosted patina with minor spotting and a few collector type handling marks. The frame retains about 85% original nickel with scattered spotting. The hammer shows flashes of vibrant original case colors. The grips are very good. The action is smooth.
