Smith & Wesson First Model Second issue .22 caliber revolver. New York style scroll engraved, silver and gold washed finish, Pearl grips, serial number 71519. The barrel and cylinder show 50% to 70% uncleaned anddarkened silver plate with some beginning erosion and pitting and a faint trace of gold wash. The frame shows 70% to 80% uncleaned gold washed finish over silver. The pearl grips fit impeccably and are in near finecondition. The markings are good and sharp, the action is working but not staying on full cock. A very attractive and original Smith & Wesson that has not been cleaned in decades. Est.: $900-$1,800.
