This is a Smith & Wesson Model 686 double action revolver chambered in the .357 Magnum caliber. This is a Ducks Unlimited presentation revolver from the Missoula, Montana chapter. The revolver features a bright stainless finish with custom grips and engraving. The pistol has an upgraded action and accuracy by renowned gunsmith Andy Cannon of Victor, Montana. The frame is engraved "Cannon's Guns" to reflect his modifications. The custom rosewood contoured grips were made by Hogue of California. Lastly, the cylinder has been extensively engraved by Charles Wheat of Hamilton, Montana. In all, the upgrades and embellishments are valued at over $1400. The revolver comes with a custom solid oak presentation case with a plaque that reads "1986 Ducks Unlimited Missoula Chapter D.U. 1 of 1". The original Smith & Wesson factory box is also included. The revolver is in excellent, new pristine condition and has never been fired outside the factory. A truly unique and one of a kind presentation revolver. The pistol measures 11.5" long overall with a 6" barrel. Serial number is AUU0224. This is a modern manufactured handgun and requires an FFL or NICS background check to transfer.
