Smith & Wesson Bekeart Model DA revolver, .22LR cal., 6” barrel, adjustable rear sight, old re-blue finish, checkered extended target wood medallion grips, #138694 in overall very good condition showing the majority of its refinish, very good bore, action, markings and grips with “555” stamped on the bottom left grip. This gun is housed in a custom wood and glass casing with a black and white old photo and a color postcard of Bekearts Store and note that reads “This Smith and Wesson Target Pistol, a .22 Cal. on a .32 Cal. Frame, a True Bekeart; he is a San Francisco Gun Dealer having ordered one Thousand such arms from S&W. This one has serial No. 555 on the wooden grip bottom. Bekeart built his home at 3760 Clay St. S.F. (Presidio Heights). LTC. D.K. Ilyin, USAR (Ret) grew up there. From an old estate. Est.: $600-$1,200.
