Manufactured from 1881 to 1913 and is also known as "The New Model Navy". The top of the barrel rib is marked with the two line address/patent dates. Matching serial number on the butt, rear face of the cylinder, barrel latch, and rear of the top strap at the latch. Pinned blade front sight with the rear sight a notch in the latch. Fitted with checkered grips with the right grip stamped with the number "8990" on the back.

Condition: Fine. The barrel and frame retain 70% original blue finish with the balance between a smooth brown patina and a smooth gray patina. The cylinder retains 30% blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The hammer and trigger retain 90% original case colors, otherwise faded to a gray. The heavily worn grips are good with some minor handling marks and worn checkering. Mechanically excellent.
