Serial # 22210 . 44 Caliber, 8 inch barrel, nickel and case color finish. 2-piece walnut grips do not match revolver number. Has "62" etched into left grip. Circa early 1870's. Condition: Excellent bore, 98% nickel overall, 98% case color on hammer and trigger guard, excellent grips,excellent mechanically, excellent marks. Revolver is reported to have been the personal side arm of Judge George W. Padbury (1859-1947) of Helena, MT. Walt Jenkins bought the gun from Robert Oliver of Bozeman,Mt in 1951.
