Small pewter plate with London maker's marks on bottom, intact, ex-Guadalupe-Tolosa (1724). 358 grams. 8½" diameter. Medium gray with some light pitting, interesting multiple markings on bottom, as follows: two LONDON touch-marks, two stamps with renderings of a flying insect, one small stamp "TF," and a hand-scribed pentagram. From the Guadalupe-Tolosa (1724), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic and copy of the article "Graveyard of the Quicksilver Galleons" by Mendel Peterson from the December 1979 issue of National Geographic.
