Cape of Good Hope slave grant, written in Dutch and signed by members of the Dutch East India Company's Privy Council. Very early slave grant is dated 20 March 1715. The first page of this two page 8'' x 12.75'' document is embossed with a 12-stuiver revenue stamp. Document shows general wear, folds and some ink showthrough. Ink is still vibrant despite general toning. Overall in very good condition.
