The archive includes seven Bills of Sale from various states including Kentucky, Mississippi, Virginia, and North Carolina in various forms and sizes with document detail from sketchy to detailed. There are also two Estate divisions which include slaves, a list of slaves that have been donated by a father to her daughter, an assessment of property, including slaves, containing two documents, a list of slaves actually hired out by their owner, and a two page New Orleans tax assessment. The archive concludes with a selection of eight newspapers all dealing with slavery including "The Daily Picayune"and "The Daily True Delta", both New Orleans publications, "The Daily Georgian", a Savannah publication and "The Harold of Freedom", a Concord, New Hampshire Anti-Slavery publication.
