Scarce limited edition Skylab 2 (SL-3) cover with an affixed decal featuring the alternative 'wives' mission emblem, substituting the Leonardo da Vinci-inspired central figure with a 'universal' female body, and replacing the astronaut names with those of their wives. The cover, 9.5 x 4.25, numbered 10/17, is signed in black ballpoint by Sue Bean, Helen Garriott, and Gratia Lousma. The front is type-addressed to “Mr. & Mrs. Alan L. Bean,” and the reverse flap bears an affixed address label belonging to noted space journalist Jacques Tiziou. In fine condition, with a few faint stains.

Originates from the personal collection of longtime NASA employee Robert B. 'Stretch' Flanagan, a Senior Security Specialist who accompanied the Apollo astronauts on their post-flight goodwill world tours. He was nicknamed ‘Stretch’ on account of his 6´6˝ height.
