Flown American flag, 5.5 x 4, carried into space aboard the Skylab Space Station in 1973–1974. The flag is affixed to a 14 x 11 presentation certificate, which reads, "Presented to Robert B. Flanagan, For your 'extra effort' in making the Skylab missions successful." Signed in the lower left in black ballpoint and felt tip by Charles Conrad, Joe Kerwin, and Ed Gibson. The additional six astronaut signatures are all preprinted facsimiles. In fine condition, a small fold to upper right corner tip.

Originates from the personal collection of longtime NASA employee Robert B. 'Stretch' Flanagan, a Senior Security Specialist who accompanied the Apollo astronauts on their post-flight goodwill world tours. He was nicknamed ‘Stretch’ on account of his 6´6˝ height.
