It is hard to determine where to put General Geary. He was San Francisco's first mayor (Geary Street), the Territory of Kansas third Governor and Pennsylvania's sixteenth Governor. He was a participant in the Mexican-American War and was a Civil War General. He was captured and then seriously wounded in the Civil War.
