Gupta Dynasty, Skandagupta (Kramaditya) (455-467 CE), Gold Heavy Dinar, “Archer” type, Obv: the king standing facing left, nimbate, holding a longbow in his left hand and an arrow in his right, a filleted Garuda standard on the left field, the Brahmi legend “Skanda" below the king's arm, Rev: the goddess Lakshmi, nimbate, facing forward and seated in the padmasana posture on a lotus, holding a diadem in her right hand and a lotus in her left, whose stem is coming from inside the hand resting on her thigh, the Brahmi legend "Kramaditya" in the right field, Sankhanidhi symbol with pearls flowing out at left, dotted border around, 9.11g, 19.8mm, (TGE, S. Kumar # Class. II-Var. C), about very fine, Extremely Rare.
