Group of six different Washington mining stocks.1)Pierre Lake Gold Mining Company, Northport, Wash. (WA), issued in 1901 for 500 shares. The Pierre Lake or Orient district, was the largest gold producing district in Washington state, according to Koschmann and Bergendahl, U.S.G.S. 1968. The district was formed in 1902 after significant discoveries were made at the First Thought and Napoleon mines. Total production for the district through 1942 was 45,057 ounces [Ref: westernmininghistory.com].Unc. 2)Brooklyn and Olympia Mining Company (WA), issued in 1928 for 10000 shares. Allegorical female. Unc. 3)Commodore Mines Corp. (WA), issued at Spokane in 1928. The company held 10 claims including the Queen and Seal mines in the Deer Trail or Springdale district. High grade silver lead ore occurred in a well defined vein. Operations by previous owners were reported to have returned $250,000. Elk vignette. Unc. 4)96 Mining Company (WA), issued in 1928.
