<B>Six Abraham Lincoln Election Tickets</B></I> with one from the 1860 presidential race and the others dating to 1864. The earliest ticket is uniface, 3" x 7", and is from Ohio. It names Hannibal Hamlin as Lincoln's running mate and is printed in blue ink; The 1864 tickets, all naming Lincoln and Johnson, are as follows: "Unconditional Union Ticket", 2 pp., 3" x 8", Indiana. A bellicose piece of ephemera with military images on both sides; "Union Ticket", 2 pp., 3" x 7.75", San Francisco. The verso is imprinted with a view showing the duel between the <I>Alabama</B></I> and the <I>Kearsarge</B></I>; "Union Presidential Ticket", 2 pp., 3.25" x 7.75", Ohio. The verso has UNION in large, bold type; "Loyal Men's Ticket", 2 pp., 3.5" x 6.5", Pennsylvania. The verso shows America dousing a dragon's flame. Below the scene is a pencil inscription identifying the piece to Delaware County; "Union Ticket", 2 pp., 3.5" x 6.25", location unknown. The verso depicts a large 35-star American flag printed in red and blue ink. Browning, stains and creases are common to all pieces.
