Note signed by British Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur Harris. Signed boldly in black ink, ''Arthur T. Harris ACM RAF'' and dated 17 February 1945. The note bears the stamped royal seal and is embossed ''Headquarters, Bomb Command, c/o C.P.O., High Wycombe, Bucks.'' Addressed to Mr. Brian Jones in Birmingham, England. 4.75'' x 7.5'' note is folded in fourths and through the signature, which is still pristine. Near fine condition. With postmarked transmittal envelope.
