This is a Sioux Native American Indian fully beaded necktie (neck tie) and collar from circa 1890-1920. The piece is displayed in a rustic Montana reclaimed barnwood frame on green felt. The piece shows excellent glass trade seed beads from the 19th century in colors such as: chalk white, medium green, semi-translucent red. The piece is done on early trade clothe and shows only very slight bead loss, but otherwise is an excellent piece. The frame is 21.5"x17.5" and the tie and collar measures (as they lay) 17"L x 13"W. Provenance: from a Billings Montana collection.
