This is a beaded leather belt from the Sioux Native American Indians. The piece shows a early 1800’s glass trade seed beaded geometric design on a leather belt with a nickel silver buckle. The pieces were purchased and sold by Otto F. Ernst. Otto Ernst was a renowned Saddle Maker and would purchase Native American items to sell in his Saddle shop and Catalog. Otto Ernst Saddlery Sheridan, Wyoming. These are from circa 1890-1910. Each measures 7”x5.75” Rare Piece.
