<tr>
<td><em>
This caddy has the most inlay I have yet to see. It must have taken a master craftsman months to complete all the minute pieces.</em></td>

<tr>
<td width="100%">
This single tea caddy has it all. The main box is rosewood with
a burr walnut lid, & incredible inlays on the top.
The marquetry is just exquisite. The mosaic borders and cube
design of the top feature 1000s of individual pieces of wood
arranged in with exacting precision to create a work of art. The
craftsmanship required to do this inlay work is a lost art, so we
are doubly pleased that it is all still intact! All different types of
woods were used to make up this complicated pattern:
rosewood, walnut, mahogany, satingwood, ebony, boxwood,
burr walnut, elm and tulipwoods to name a few! The box itself
is in great condition with no repairs!
