Absolutely gorgeous and spectacular large Persian Kashan Rug. Made of all natural, vegetable, dyed, hand woven, baby lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation. Please notice the intricate design and well balanced color palette, combined with a superior baby lambs wool quality and highly dense weave, producing a well defined and crisp pattern. where a typical persian rug employs between twelve and sixteen colors, this lovely piece features over thirty eight different colors. this rug is masterfully hand woven, knot by knot, using superior quality baby lamb's wool with about 100 knots per square inch. It takes a master weaver over three years to create this beauty and bring it to the market. Please notice that also attesting to the fine weave is the fact that the back of this Rug looks as good as the front. The leather band sewn on the edge at the back of this rug is to keep the edges from curling under due to the extreme tightness of the weave. creases in this rug are due to fold and not a defect. Size 9 feet 11 inches X 14 feet 4 inches.
