This type of Tabriz’s well known for its intricate stylized fish design and can only be woven by a master weaver due to the highly intricate pattern. the baby lambs wool used to weave this Rug is of finest quality to the point that it feels like velvet to the touch and the silk high lights give this piece a three dimensional character. This lovely piece is masterfully woven, knot by knot, and has about 180 knots per square inch. it takes a master weaver over three years to create this beauty. Please note that attesting to the fine weave is the fact that the back looks as good as the front. Creases are due to fold and not a defect. Size: 8 feet X 5 feet 8 inches. Country of Origin: Iran.
