Simply breathtaking signed part silk Persian Isfahan rug. 100% natural, hand woven, vegetable dye, pure silk and highest quality baby lamb's wool pile on pure silk foundation. This remarkable Isfahan with its mesmerizing arabesque design and pattern is woven and signed by a master weaver named "Enteshari". It is rather rare to come across such a highly intricate fine Isfahan with a lovely sunburst central medallion with such exquisite crowned corners. While a typical rug is limited to a range of about twelve and sixteen colors, this striking piece features more than forty two different colors creating a tapestry of colors that is feast for the eyes. Please note, that the glowing silk high lights give this rug a three dimensional character. This fine Isfahan has over 400 knots per square inch and it takes a master weaver over three years to create this beauty. Attesting to the fine weave is the fact that the back of this rug looks as good as the front. Size: 10 feet X 7 feet . Country of origin: Iran.
