This is an unbelievably lustrous fine Isfahan with a beautiful arabesque pattern on a gorgeous beige background with an exquisite sun burst central medallion. This captivating Isfahan is masterfully hand woven, knot by knot, and has about 400 knots per square inch. This lovely piece is signed by a renowned master weaver named "Tavassoli" and it would take a over three years to create this captivating piece. The silk highlights give this delightful Isfahan a three dimensional character. The leather band sewn on the edge on the back of this rug is to prevent the edges from curling under due to the extreme tightness of the weave. Size: 7 feet 5 inches X 3 feet 9 inches.
