It is certainly rare and uncommon to come across Bidgol-Kashan in the marketplace. Very few pieces are ever woven in this satellite town in the proximity of the city of Kashan. so it is no wonder that the few that are produced are of extreme high quality and artistic workmanship. Please notice the intricate design and well balanced color palette, combined with a superior baby lambs wool quality and highly dense weave, producing a well defined and crisp pattern. Where a typical Persian Rug employs between twelve and sixteen colors, this lovely piece features over thirty eight different colors. This Rug is masterfully hand woven, knot by knot, using superior quality baby lambs wool with about 200 knots per square inch. it takes a master weaver over three years to create this beauty and bring it to the marketplace.
