Simply Delightful and Lustrous Fine Part Silk Persian-Pak Kashan Rug. 100% Natural, vegetable dye, hand-woven, pure silk and softest baby lambs wool pile on cotton foundation. This is an absolutely breathtaking piece and based on the fact that Persian Rugs are product of a desert-like environment, it is a given that primary colors are used as means of absorbing the harsh and intense sunlight in order to be soothing to the eyes. Therefore it is rather rare to come across Rugs with such predominant soft tones. This is an exceptionally intricate and exquisite piece with its beautiful Shah-Abbasi floral pattern. The silk highlights in particular are so glowing that it gives a three dimensional character to this luxurious piece. This lovely Kashan is painstakingly and masterfully hand woven, knot by knot, and has about 160 knots per square inch. It would take over four years to weave and create this lovely piece.
