Simply beautiful rare semi antique Persian Tehran. Size 7.0 X 4.10 feet, made of fine quality baby lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation, all natural vegetable dye, incorporating an open field design, with a fascinating floral centerpiece medallion, crowned corners and an intricately done border. A beautifully array of colors used in this authentic rug. Hand woven in Tehran, Iran. This rug has some Abrash on it. Abrash is the art of streaking color. The base color will change dramatically from one end of the field to the other, a traditional technique that can produce great drama and distinction.
