Political leader (1724–1775) who represented New York in the Continental Congress in 1774 and 1775. Manuscript DS, one page, 12.5 x 15.75, March 22, 1774. Scalloped-top document for the sale of a parcel of land in King’s County, New York, between Carel DeBevois and John Cowenhoven. Signed at the conclusion by Boerum and other officials. Document bears remnants of a red wax seal to lower right. In very good condition, with intersecting storage folds, and light scattered foxing.
