<B>Silverton N.S.S.M. Silver Ingot. One Ounce.</B></I> A rare and important small-size Colorado ingot. This came from the wonderfully rich and productive Silverton, Colorado mine, the North Star Silver Mine, which was in operation from 1877 through at least 1903. Simple in design and execution, this was probably made in the earlier phase of the mine's history as a memento. It is poured in the classic John Taylor style in a one-ounce mold.
