Silver spout from a small pitcher, ex-Concepción (1641). 29 grams. 2¼" long. Small but solid silvery beak-shaped spout as would have been found attached to a small jug or pitcher called an ewer, used to serve water for drinking at mealtime. From the Concepción (1641), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic, and accompanied by the July 1996 issue of National Geographic signed by Captain Tracy Bowden on his article "Gleaning Treasure from the Silver Bank."
