Very early Arizona! # 408 for 20 shares to Arnold Brothers. Signed by H Elmore and H Johnson as president. Dateline San Francisco 1864. Incorporated July 2d, 1863. Location: Golden City Ledge, Golden City and Yosemite Companies. Four feet to each share. Not cancelled. Two vignettes: Mill and Allegorical. Black on light purple safety paper. Geo. We assume the Silver Butte district was the Silver District located on the Colorado north of Eureka. “Most of the lodes are located three or four miles from the river” according to J.Ross Browne in 1868.
