German silver blade front and notch rear sights, with "DERINGER/PHILADELA" stamped on top of the breech, between a pair of silver bands. The Deringer address is repeated on the lock plate, with scroll engraving on the lock, hammer, tang, accent plate, and reverse plate, with floral patterns on the escutcheons and zig-zag borders on the inscription shield and teardrop buttplate. Attractively finished stock, with German silver furniture, a triangular tip insert and a bird's head butt.

Gauge: 43
Finish: brown/casehardened
Grips: walnut
Serial Number: NSN
Condition:
Very good. The barrel shows almost half of the much faded original brown finish, with the distinctive bronzed streaking present. A few hints of the original case colors remain, with a mixed gray patina overall. A small amount of verdigris is visible on the German silver components. The revarnished stock is very good, with a few small chips, a thin crack extending forward from the right escutcheon, and scattered dents. Mechanically very good.
