This brooch was made 1915 of silver in the style of the time. The two-part blossom and leaf shape is decorated with four small chrysoprase and three larger carnelian cabochons. The elaborate silversmith workmanship is visible in the relief of the jewellery piece.The silver brooch is in good condition with few age-related traces of wear. On the reverse side the brooch is marked with the initials “K.E.”, with the date “6. Sept. 1915”, the purity mark “826” and the maker’s and date mark “S.F.” “S.” The dimensions are 6.6 x 4.4 cm (height x width) and the overall weight is 13.6 grams.
