Sikh Religious Token, Copper Token, late 18th Century, Obv: Guru Hargobind (1595-1644), the sixth Guru of the Sikhs, on his horse with his hunting falcon (baaj) in his hand, A halo (a circle of light) radiating from his head. An attendant standing behind, waving a fly whisk (chauri), which was usually made with peacock feathers or the hairs of a yak. The Guru’s hunting dog below, the Gurumukhi inscription, ‘Guru Hargobind’ above, Rev: the moola mantra, 8.0g, 27.97mm, (Saran & Dalwinder # SS-T17), about extremely fine.
