Sikh Empire, Ranjit Singh (VS 1856-1896 /1799-1839AD), Sri Amritsar Mint, Silver Rupee, VS 1878 (1821 AD), "Nanak Shahi" Couplet, Obv: Persian legend "Sikka zad bar har do Alam Fazle Sachha sahib ast, Fateh tegh-e-Guru Gobind Singh Shah Nanak Wahab ast" with large Aarsi like symbol above Guru Gobind”, Rev: Persian legend "zarb Sri Amritsar jiyo" with Vikram Samvat 1878 at the top, "Takht Akal Bakht" with lion face like symbol above "Takht" & Persian numeral 2 below a leaf, 10.97g, 2362mm, (Guruprit # 01.45.01/Saran & Dalwinder # AM 2241jb), no test mark, about extremely fine, Scarce.

Note: On the reverse of this coin, a symbol resembling the Persian numeral 2 is positioned below the leaf, while a substantial Aarsi-like symbol is placed above 'Guru Gobind' on the obverse.
