For bidding in this lot is a Sioux Native American Indian carved catlinite pipe bowl, and wooden beaded pipe stem. The bottom of the bowl is signed with a hand carved name; "Spotted Elk". The pipe stem has a rich brown stain, and is adorned with medium cut tanned hide fringe, and Corn Yellow, Light Green, and Dark Maroon. The pipe and stem are in good condition, and originate from the mid-late 20th century. Together, the pipe measures 23" long, 1" wide at the thickest part of the stem, and 3" tall from the bottom of the bowl to the top.
