This is an original signed production cel of Baba Looey from the tv show "Quick Draw McGraw Show". Bob Singer signed the cel at the top in black sharpie. * Bob Singer is an American animation artist, character designer, layout and background artist and storyboard director of animated television programs, most memorably of several Hanna Barbara productions such as The Flintstones, Jonny Quest, Scooby-Doo, Yogi Bear, Droopy, Tom and Jerry, The Jetsons, The Smurfs, Superfriends, and the Harlem Globe Trotters cartoons. * Baba Looey is Quick Draw Mcgraw's sidekick. He is brown and wears a sombrero. He is often seen hanging around with Quick Draw and helps him catch bad guys. * Original Animated Cel Overall Size of the Cel: 10 1/2" x 12 1/2" Dated: Nov. 25, 1958Excellent Condition This is an original hand-painted cel set-up used in the production of "Quick Draw McGraw Show". Each one-of-a-kind set-up represents a slight change in position of the characters. When individually photographed and projected in rapid succession, the images appear to move. * To create production cels, the original animator's drawing is transferred onto an acetate cel (by hand-inking and/or photo copying).
