This is a High Grade Model 71 Lever Action rifle manufactured in Japan and features a blue barrel, hammer and bolt, coin receiver and lever, and a gold washed trigger. The left side, rear of the barrel has the standard markings. The receiver is engraved with a fine floral scroll pattern with a wooded scene and gold running deer in a round panel on the right front and two gold elk in a wooded mountain scene on the left side. The lower left rear of the receiver is signed "T. NAKA". Mounted with an extra fancy, high gloss checkered forearm with end cap and pistol grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate. Complete in the original box numbered to the gun.
