CDV of Captain George Creasey, 35th Massachusetts Infantry, Company B. CDV is signed in ink to verso “Geo. W. Creasey / Cap. 35th Mass Infy”. Creasey was wounded in action in December of 1862 at Fredericksburg. In May 1864 at the North Anna River Creasey became a prisoner of war and served time in prisons in Macon, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina. Creasey was paroled in March 1865. CDV measures 2.5” x 4”. CDV is slightly trimmed along the top margin, affecting the top part of the inscription. Overall very good condition.
