Manufactured in 1973 and subsequently beautifully engraved and gold inlaid by Master Engraver Bill Johns of Cody, Wyoming. The revolver features floral scroll and punch dot engraving on the barrel, ejector housing, frame and grip straps. There is a thin gold inlaid band around the muzzle and breech ends of the barrel and one around the rear of the cylinder. There is a geometric design on the upper front sides of the frame. There is a shell design on the recoil shield and loading gate, and a star burst on the right front of the frame and on the back strap. There is a gold inlaid diamond shape on the ejector housing and gold inlaid accents on the top and heel of the back strap. Directly ahead of the trigger guard is signed "BJ" in a banner. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address with a geometric border around it and seven arrows at the muzzle end. "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" is marked in a panel on the left side of the barrel and the left side of the frame. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame and left side of the grip straps under the grips and the matching assembly number "379" is marked on the right rear of the frame and on the loading gate. Blue finish with casehardened frame and hammer, and fitted with ivory grips with a relief carved steer skull on the right panel. The revolver is complete in a custom walnut case with red padded fabric lining.

Condition:
Near mint as custom embellished and refinished with 99% plus blue and casehardened finish remaining. The grips are excellent with a few light scratches on the left panel. The engraving and markings are sharp. The action is excellent. The case is excellent.
