CDV of William W. Heed of the 68th Pennsylvania Infantry, Company I. Bustview with original pink tinting on cheeks. Card signed in ink to verso, ''Your true friend, Wm W Heed.'' Image has graphic photographer's backmark ''Rehn & Sons - Philadelphia, PA'' and two cent canceled stamp. Heed mustered into service on 2 September 1862 and mustered out on 9 June 1865 at Hart's Island, New York. CDV has very light foxing and soiling, as well as clipped corners. Light surface wear and a small ''thumb crease''. Overall, very good condition.
