<B>Lot of Three 19th Century Political Signatures</B></I> including: “<I>Chester A. Arthur</B></I>”, on a 3.75” x 2” autograph card, in ink, large bold signature in fine condition; “<I>Robert T. Lincoln</B></I>”, on a 3.75” x 2.25” autograph card, bright, bold in fine condition; and a Department of State document signed “<I>James G. Blaine</B></I>” on the first endorsement, 10” x 8”, dated November 28, 1881, permanently mounted in a paper folder, else fine condition. Each of these gentlemen served in important governmental positions in the 19th century American government: Robert Todd Lincoln (eldest son of Abraham Lincoln) served as Secretary of War, James G. Blaine as Secretary of State and, of course, Chester A.
