Haven ìits secretaryî. Brn border w/blk writing, gren underprint background, ì$1000î in grn. underprint. Four vignettes under title : water fall, river distant view, men working in ditch and hydro generator. 34 coupons attached. Embossed corp. seal dated 1904. Janssen Litho Co. printer. Incorp. 1904 to build a large dam on the Mokelumne River, west slope of the Sierra Nevada, to supply water and electric power for mining and irrigation. Work was begun in 1904 but suspended after the San Francisco earthquake and fire in 1906. Coupons cut to 1908. Liquidated 1910. The company's properties were located in Amador, Alpine and Calaveras Counties. The company failed in 1910 and their operations were taken over by the Sierra Blue Lakes Water & Power Co.
