<B>Arthur Collins from Sir Henry Sidney, Sir Philip Sydney, Robert, Earl of Leicester, and Philip Lord Viscount Lisle: Two Volume Set of <I>Letters and Memorials of State</B></I></B></I><I>, in the Reigns of Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth, King James, King Charles the First, Part of the Reign of King Charles the Second, and Oliver's Usurpation</B></I> (London: Printed for T. Osborne, 1746), two volumes, volume I: 400 pages, volume II: 733 plus Errata page, modern dark brown cloth with black leather title plates on the spine lettered and bordered in gilt (spines read "SIDNEY'S STATE PAPERS"), folio (9" x 13.5"). Volume I has been bound with <I>Memoirs of the Lives and Actions of the Sydneys,</B></I> 180 pages plus Index. The binding on the set is about fine on both volumes. Both textblocks show mild foxing and toning, there is mild damp-staining to the early part of the text of volume I & two small stamps on the volume I title page from the Long Island Historical Society, and both volumes show a previous owner's signature on the title page, else very good.<BR><BR><b>Shipping:</b> Books & Catalogs (<a target="_blank" href="http://www.heritageauctions.com/common/shipping.php">view shipping information</a>)
