Playwright (1891–1939) who won the Pulitzer Prize in 1925 and a posthumous Academy Award in 1940 for the screenplay for Gone With the Wind. ALS, two pages on two adjoining sheets, 5.75 x 8, personal letterhead, February 1915. Boldly penned letter in Howard’s difficult to decipher hand regarding an appearance the following month. In very good condition, with intersecting horizontal and vertical fold, uniform toning, and pencil notations under signature.
