Letter to an admirer on the filmmaking craft. In part: “‘The White Trap,’ is not ‘The Trap,’ it has a completely different story and in fact was the very first picture that I directed…No one, unless he’s a fool, sets out to make a bad picture, it is the easiest thing in the world to be critical and destructive, unfortunately very few of the critics realize that films change from their original concept for budgeting and therefore time cutting reasons.” In fine condition.
