In full: “I wish to thank you for your splendid review of my new prologue and ‘Hell Divers’ at the Chinese Theatre. Your criticism was high constructive and it makes me feel very happy to know that you are supporting me with your valuable column.” In very good condition, with three horizontal folds, one passing through the signature, a uniform shade of toning, a tack hole to the top, and some damp staining to the lower left.
