Charioteer driving fast quadriga left, holding kentron in right hand, reins in left; Nike flying right above and crowning charioteer; below heavy exergual line, a cuirass, shield, greaves, helmet, and horizontal spear. Reverse: Head of Arethusa left, wearing necklace and single-drop earring, raised dot before neck, surrounded by four dolphins. Gallatin R.XXI I/ J.VIA. Dies of exceptional style, with none of the usual rust. Attractively toned. Unobtrusive die break running across Arethusa's cheek. Superb Extremely Fine.
