The few copies graded higher by CGC only eked out a 9.0 grade, meaning this specimen has to be counted among the best available. This was the first time Aquaman ever had a whole comic devoted to him despite two decades of loyal service in various DC titles! This tryout issue has an origin recap; the art is by Ramon Fradon, with Howard Purcell handling cover art chores. Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $578; VF/NM 9.0 value = $964.
