This issue represents the first time Aquaman ever had a whole comic devoted to him, despite appearing in various DC titles continuously for two decades! This tryout issue is notable for a brand-new origin that differs from the Golden Age account. The art is by Ramon Fradon, with Howard Purcell handling cover art chores. Overstreet 2006 VF/NM 9.0 value = $964; NM- 9.2 value = $1,350.
