Original set of 4 pre-production designs (Prints) used in the John Badham directed science fiction comedy film 'Short Circuit' (1986), which plot centers upon an experimental military robot that is struck by lightning and gains a human-like intelligence, prompting it to escape its facility to learn more about the world.
The film stars Ally Sheedy, Steve Guttenberg, Fisher Stevens, Austin Pendleton and G. W. Bailey, with Tim Blaney as the voice of the robot named "Number 5".
